Chocolate chip blondies are an excellent twist on classic brownies, featuring a chewy and buttery texture packed with semi-sweet chocolate chips. Baked in a 9x13 pan, these sweet treats are perfect for picnics, gatherings, or just a satisfying snack!
Ingredients (for 15 bars):
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and well combined.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
Bake for 25-30 min. or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.
Allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
Once cooled, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the blondies out of the pan.
