Pinwheels are a tasty and portable option for picnics that can be customizd with your favorite ingredients. With layers of savory meats, creamy cheese, and fresh greens all wrapped in a soft tortilla, these bite-sized treats are the perfect way to please the entire family at your next outdoor party! 

Ingredients (for 12 pieces):

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 slices roast beef
  • 4 slices turkey
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup baby spinach or lettuce leaves
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and Dijon mustard. Mix until well blended.
  2. Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface.
  3. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the tortilla.
  4. Layer 2 slices of roast beef, 2 slices of turkey, 2 slices of cheddar cheese, and 2 slices of Swiss cheese on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Place half of the baby spinach or lettuce leaves evenly over the meats and cheeses. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  6. Roll the tortilla tightly from one end to the other to form a log. Repeat the process with the second tortilla and the remaining ingredients.
  7. Using a sharp knife, slice each rolled tortilla into 6 even pieces, yielding 12 pinwheels in total.
  8. Arrange the pinwheels on a platter and serve immediately, or wrap them in plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!
