Caprese Skewers are a fresh and vibrant addition to any picnic spread. Combining juicy cherry tomatoes, creamy mozzarella balls, and fragrant basil leaves, these bite-sized appetizers are drizzled with balsamic glaze and olive oil for a burst of refreshing flavor!

Ingredients (for 6 or 12 skewers, depending on length):

  • 12 cherry tomatoes
  • 12 mini mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
  • 12 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 2 tbspolive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 12 wooden or bamboo skewers

Instructions:

  1. Thread one cherry tomato onto each skewer.
  2. Follow with one mini mozzarella ball.
  3. Finish with a fresh basil leaf.
  4. Repeat the process for all 12 skewers.
  5. Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.
  6. Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic glaze evenly over the skewers.
  7. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Serve the Caprese Skewers immediately, or refrigerate them until ready to enjoy.
