Whether served as a side or a snack, they’re proof that simple ingredients can create something truly extraordinary!
Ingredients (for 4 servings):
1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a large mixing bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Spread the Brussels sprouts cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 18–20 min, or until the edges are golden and crispy, and the sprouts are tender when pierced with a fork.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the sprouts with Parmesan cheese. Return to the oven for an additional 2–3 min, or until the cheese melts and forms a lightly golden crust.
Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and add a squeeze of lemon juice, if desired, for a bright finish. Serve immediately.
