Carrot-Apple Smoothie

Smoothies are a perfect breakfast full of vitamins. Most of them require nothing more than blending the ingredients, resulting in a breakfast packed with vitamins and fiber.


Ingredients (serves 2):

  • 6 carrots
  • 4 apples
  • 1 piece of ginger (about 3/4 inch)
  • A splash of olive oil or flaxseed oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • A splash of water

Instructions:

  1. Clean the apples and carrots and chop them. Peel the ginger.
  2. Place all ingredients into a blender. Add more water if needed and blend until smooth.
