Banana Bread

Banana bread is the perfect solution when you find yourself with overripe bananas that are too dark to eat on their own. While these bananas may not be appetizing raw, they add the ideal sweetness and moisture to make a perfect banana bread.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine the flour and baking powder in a bowl. Mix the softened butter in small pieces with the sugar and salt.
  3. Mash the 3 bananas with a fork until you get a puree-like consistency. Mix together with the eggs.
  4. Combine with the flour mixture and pour into a greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake for about 50 minutes. Check the consistency with a toothpick and bake for a few more minutes if necessary.

Enjoy!
