Tuna salad tartines with red onion on toasted whole wheat baguette

Who doesn't have cans of tuna stocked away in the pantry at any given time? Often, we just stir it up with some mayonnaise and cracked black pepper for a quick sandwich fix or low-carb salad topping. Take it up a notch with flaked tuna, 1/2 cup cream cheese, chopped chives, and a touch of salt and pepper. Toast up thinly sliced whole wheat baguette, top with the tuna salad preparation and garnish with 2 red onion slices.
