Cheesy Dog

This California dog is made with carrots and cabbage sliced into matchsticks, round cucumber slices, a hot dog and Cheddar cheese sauce. For the sauce: In a saucepan, heat 1 1/2 tablespoons butter with 2 1/2 tablespoons flour. Stir well, then add 1 teaspoon milk. Add 3 tablespoons grated cheddar, and stir until combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
