Tangy bacon-wrapped chicken tenders

Fair warning: these bacon-wrapped chicken tenders in a maple-mustard glaze are super addictive.

To make, preheat the oven to 400 °F. Combine 2 tablespoons maple syrup, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, salt and cracked blacked pepper in a small bowl. Soak 8 chicken tenders in the glaze, then wrap each one in a strip of bacon. Place the tenders in an oiled cast-iron skillet on medium-high, with the loose bacon sides down. Saute for a couple minutes on both sides to crisp up the bacon a bit. Transfer the skillet to the oven, and bake for 15 to 17 minutes until the bacon is nicely browned. Serve immediately.
