For this crown-shaped dessert that's fit for a king, pour 3 cups flour into your food processor with the zest of 1 lemon and 1 1/2 tablespoons baker's yeast dissolved in a bit of lukewarm water. Add 1/3 cup sugar, and start pulsing, then add 1 1/3 stick butter cut into pieces and 1 tablespoon orange blossom syrup. Shape the mixture into a ball of dough and let rise for 1 hour. Make a hole in the center and shape the crown accordingly. Brush with a beaten egg and let rise for 1 hour more before popping in the oven for 40 minutes at 400 °F. Once cooled, add a thin layer of glaze and garnish with turbinado sugar, slivered almonds and candied fruits.
