24. Turning to candy and sugary foods for energy

If you find your energy levels dropping during the day, whatever you do, don't reach for the candy bar or gummies to wake yourself up. They'll only provide a temporary reprieve, followed by a sugar crash that will leave you feeling sluggish and irritable (and probably a bit guilty). Try getting out of the office and going for a run during lunch, and get up frequently to stretch your legs. Also, always make sure you're getting enough water, as dehydration can cause fatigue.
