10 Cookie Mistakes You Should Never Make

Storing Baked Cookies Wrong

After everything in the kitchen has gone well and you've produced stacks of tasty treats, your goal now is to make sure they taste just as delicious in a few hours or even in a few days as they did the moment they cooled down. To keep your cookies from immediately hardening and becoming stale, put them in a container with a slice of white bread. The cookies will gradually absorb the moisture from the bread, which means they will remain soft, and because white bread has little taste, its flavor won't taint the cookies. No more unpleasant staleness. Enjoy!
