Sometimes, you should really stick with what you know best. But in the 1980's, McDonald's got a little greedy and wanted to compete with Domino's and Pizza Hut for the love of pizza fans. Unfortunately, these made-to-order pizzas took far too long to prepare, testing the patience of "fast"-food seekers and ultimately resulted in failure. Our verdict: if you have to turn the logo sideways in your marketing campaign, you know it's a doomed deal.
