Wet Ingredients

You want to make sure your wet ingredients (such as buttermilk and eggs) are at room temperature before you mix them. Whisking with milk straight from the fridge will often leave to pesky clumps. Avoid this by leaving your ingredients out before combining. To up the fluff factor, try separating your eggs and beating the whites separately. Fold the egg whites into the wet mixture at the end, right before you start cooking.
