More than one study has found some sort of link between sugar consumption and problems with inflammation, including this one which discovered that this can even have a negative effect on subjects in good health. How does this relate to how you age?

Well, according to researchers Claudio Franceschi and Judith Campisi, "Human aging is characterized by a chronic, low-grade inflammation". Additionally (or perhaps because of this), inflammation plays a significant role in a number of age-related conditions. Exacerbating inflammatory responses in your body is only going to age you faster!
