The Mandarin in Bountiful, Utah has certainly racked up a bounty of accolades in past years for its consistently good Chinese food and efficient, friendly service. Reservations are recommended, as sometimes there can be long wait times. It might be hard to believe, but the owner is actually of Greek origin, who decided on a career change in his 50's and dove into the world of authentic Chinese cuisine. He brought on Chinese chefs to train his cooks and produced a carefully crafted menu to ensure success. Everything seems to have paid off in the end, as you can even spot the likes of celebrities and high-ranking officials among the crowds from time to time.
