Production plants burn vast quantities of fossil fuels and release large amounts of noxious gases into the atmosphere during the production and bottling processes. Then more gases are released when companies deliver the bottled water to supermarkets and distributors across the world! Not to mention the plastic remains end up polluting garbage dumps or the oceans, taking hundreds of years to decompose.
