What They Eat...

The Hadza lifestyle is roughly 10,000 years old. They hunt their meats, from porcupines to zebras, and gather honey, baobab, nuts, berries, and tubers which are a staple. What makes the Hadza microbiome so healthy? Well, studies show that when humans turn to agriculture, they lose diversity and nutrients, and domesticated animals become carriers of parasites and diseases. So, it's not necessarily what the Hadza are eating, but where it comes from—the wild.

These quick and easy chicken quesadillas are the perfect, last-minute family dinner!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup of chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp. of Mexican spice mix
  • 4 Tortillas
  • Cheddar
  • Salt, to taste

METHOD:

  1. Put shredded chicken breast, tomato sauce, chives, and mexican spice mix in a bowl and mix together.
  2. Lay out the tortillas. Place a slice of cheddar in the center, and cover with the chicken mix.
  3. Fold up tortillas, and heat in a frying pan until golden.
  4. Enjoy!
