Skillet Diner - Seattle, Washington
Skillet Street Food debuted in 2007 as one of Seattle's first food trucks. Helmed by Chef Josh Henderson, it became an instant success, due to his gourmet recipes for burgers, fried chicken sammies and other all-American comfort foods. His vintage 1962 Airstream truck also helped him stand out. Since then, Skillet has transformed into a brand, with multiple brick-and-mortars and counter-food spots around town. The expanded menu includes breakfast fare, such as the popular "Chub," made with bacon, brie, American cheese, one egg, arugula, tomato, bacon jam, jalapeno aioli and an optional fried chicken breast on a brioche roll.
