Smack Shack - Minneapolis, Minnesota

Minneapolis certainly isn't the first place that comes to mind for fresh seafood, but dig a little deeper, and you might be surprised. Smack Shack emerged as the city's very first food truck in 2010, serving fresh lobster rolls with imported lobster meat from New England. It wound up being a smashing success, subsequently cooking out of the kitchen of 1029 Bar (they remain partners today) and then opening a brick-and-mortar under its own name in 2013. The expanded menu includes a bevy of other delicious seafood and fish specialties, including lobster poutine, snow crab legs, mahi mahi and an unforgettable lobster mac and cheese.
