9 Leftover Foods You're Reheating Wrong

Fish

For leftover fish like salmon, cod or trout, do not resort to your microwave for reheating. While they're completely effective for quick-cooking frozen meals, popcorn and plenty of other dishes, microwaves will make leftover fish dry, tough and flavorless. Instead, wrap leftover fish fillets in foil with a bit of liquid (water or stock will work), and reheat them in the oven at 250°F for up to 30 minutes. This will restore moisture to the fish and help draw out its original flavors.
