Peanut Butter and Jelly

Another children's fave that can still be an appropriate choice for adults from time to time, the peanut butter and jelly sandwich is one of America's oldest and easiest sandwiches to make. So easy, in fact that you don't even really need a recipe for it. Most commonly, it's made with sliced sandwich bread layered with peanut butter and jelly—as much as you want of both, although we recommend using two parts peanut butter to one part jelly so it doesn't get too messy or soggy. We're also partial to grape jelly, but feel free to substitute another fruit flavor if grape's not your jam.
