Vin Chaud - France

Different countries around the world have different names for mulled wine, but in France it's known as vin chaud. It's especially popular during the holiday season where it's a beloved beverage at Christmas markets. The traditional recipe involves simmering red wine with sugar, star anise, cinnamon sticks, cloves, oranges and lemon zest. It's got a lovely fragrant aroma and makes for an excellent beverage to sip on, curled up with a good book or while watching your favorite holiday films.
