The middle zone (+5°C to +7°C): As its name suggests, this zone is found in the middle of your fridge, usually with the most space. It is slightly warmer than the coldest part of the fridge but tends to have the most consistent temperature.
What to store there: Foods that need to be stored at a cold temperature but are at a lower risk of spoiling. This includes:
cooked meats, poultry, fish and deli meats
homemade soups and sauces
red fruits
dairy products (cream, milk, soft cheeses) and dairy-based desserts
