Refrigerator zones

The refrigerator door (frequent temperature fluctuations from +5°C to +15°C): The refrigerator door is the warmest zone of the fridge, so it should be used to store items with a naturally longer shelf life.

What to store there: Foods with higher levels of acidity and salt, as well as those that contain preservatives. This includes:

  • all types of sauces (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, salad dressing…)
  • butter
  • sesame oil
  • beer & wine
  • juice
