When Ready to Serve...

Think about the garnish! Adding fresh herbs is an easy way to step up the presentation of your pasta by adding color and harmony to the finished dish. Fresh basil is a popular choice, but you could also add any leftover herbs that you used in the sauce. Don't add the herbs 'til right before serving, or else they'll wilt. You could also garnish with freshly cracked black pepper, a lemon wedge, breadcrumbs, or of course, grated cheese.
