Spinach Artichoke Dip

This warm and creamy classic is a must-have for any game-day spread! Packed with melty cheeses, tender spinach, and marinated artichokes, this dip is irresistibly rich and flavorful. Serve it with toasted bread, tortilla chips, or crunchy veggies for the perfect Super Bowl snack. Try adding a squeeze of lemon juice for a fresh, tangy twist!

Ingredients (for 8-10 servings):

  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Set to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or cast-iron skillet.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  3. Stir in spinach, chopped artichokes, garlic, onion powder, crushed red pepper flakes, and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Transfer to the prepared baking dish, top with remaining cheeses, and bake for 20-25 min. until golden and bubbly.
  5. Let it cool slightly before serving with bread, chips, or fresh veggies.

Ingredients

Dough:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Water

 Filling:

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup tomato sauce

 Method

  1. Mix flour, sugar, salt, milk, and water in a pan, and mix until you form a dough.
  2. In a saucepan, heat a splash of olive oil and add the onion. Cook on medium-high until onion has softened.  
  3. Add the ground beef, and add the salt, water, and tomato sauce. When the meat has browned, remove from heat. 
  4. Dust a flat surface with flour, and roll out the dough into a flat sheet. 
  5. Use a ramekin or cup to cut out circles. 
  6. Add a dollop of beef-tomato mixture to the center of each circle. 
  7. Pinch the dough into a little pocket.
  8. Bake in the oven at 350° F for 15 minutes.
  9. Enjoy!
