Americans have a serious love affair with chocolate. On average, an American consumes about 9.5 pounds of chocolate per year. This craving for chocolate is evident in the variety of chocolate products available, from classic milk chocolate bars to gourmet dark chocolate and everything in between.

Chocolate is especially popular during holidays like Halloween, Valentine's Day, and Easter, when consumption spikes dramatically. Whether it’s used in baking, enjoyed as a snack, or given as a gift, chocolate remains an integral part of American culture and cuisine.
