The worst thing to do when you're craving a snack is to stay at home. Our homes are usually stuffed with all sorts of tempting snacks and drinks, so if you're feeling hungry between meals it's time to take a walk.

Arrange a quick meetup with some friends, walk your dog or go to that exhibition you've been meaning to see. Getting out of the house will quell that grumbling tummy before you know it!

VIDEO: Chicken Quesadillas

These quick and easy chicken quesadillas are the perfect, last-minute family dinner!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup of chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp. of Mexican spice mix
  • 4 Tortillas
  • Cheddar
  • Salt, to taste

METHOD:

  1. Put shredded chicken breast, tomato sauce, chives, and mexican spice mix in a bowl and mix together.
  2. Lay out the tortillas. Place a slice of cheddar in the center, and cover with the chicken mix.
  3. Fold up tortillas, and heat in a frying pan until golden.
  4. Enjoy!
