Applying makeup in poor lighting

You might feel silly doing  your makeup next to the window, knowing that all your neighbors can see you. However, the results are so worth it! You don't have to spend tons of money on a vanity mirror to brighten your bathroom or bedroom. Just go to a part of your home where the lighting is the most natural and similar to that of where you're going.

Because if you're going to be outside in the bright sunlight, and you did your makeup in a dark room, you can be sure that your friends or colleagues will see any mistakes you might have made in plain sight. On the other hand, if you're going to a dimly lit place, probably no one will notice...
