Proper cutting etiquette

Cheeses are cut according to their shape. Round cheeses are cut like a cake. For small round cheeses, cut them in half, then across. Log-shaped cheeses are cut into slices, while wedge-shaped cheeses like brie, should be cut into long slices parallel to the side. For cheeses cut into quarters, place the cheese on one of its sides, and cut it into triangles.
