Apple-peach pie filling

Ingredients: 4 to 6 cups chopped peaches and apples + 1 to 2 tablespoons cornstarch + 1/2 cup white or brown sugar + 1 tablespoon unsalted butter + 1/2 to 2 tablespoons cinnamon and cloves + zest of 1 lemon + pinch of salt

Mix ingredients well, and proceed with the water canning method.
