These tasty treats are a pumpkin-flavored version of the classic French madeleine. To make, heat a pad of butter in a saucepan and add diced pumpkin. Cover with water and cook. Drain and blend or pulse in a food processor. In a bowl, mix eggs with sugar, the pumpkin puree, baking powder and flour. Pour into a greased madeleine pan and bake for 15 minutes at 350 °F.
