Sarma (Cabbage Rolls)

Sarma are yummy little Serbian finger foods (also found in different versions throughout the Ottoman Empire) made of sour cabbage leaves rolled around ground meat, rice and seasonings. The best part, however, is probably the fact that they are slowly simmered up for hours in pots of lard and smoked pork with aromatics and seasonings, rendering an incredibly delicious end result.
