Here's a tasty Thanksgiving stuffing with onions, corn, prunes, bacon and a hint of lemon. Brown an onion, finely chopped, in butter, then add 4 slices chopped bacon, 8 ounces finely chopped pitted prunes and 3/4 cup sweet corn. In a bowl, mix the ingredients together with washed and chopped parsley, salt and pepper, bread cubes (10 slices bread presoaked in milk), and the juice of 1/2 a lemon.
