Goodfriend Beer Garden & Burger House - Dallas, TX

It's a good thing this restaurant has a beer garden because you'll need all the cold brews you can get to help wash down some of their spicy burgers. The hottest one on the menu is the El Salazar, marked by a flame next to its name, with a 1/4 lb patty dusted with ghost chile powder and served with a sauce made from ghost chiles, Texas-grown scorpion chiles and habaneros which are prepared and mixed with fresh chiles and spices. In addition to this pain-inducing sauce, there' s a slice of habanero jack cheese and homemade horseradish pickles, for a whopping total of 1,000,000 Scoville units. If that sounds like something you can't handle, there are usually slightly tamer options on special, such as this Gobble Gobble burger made with two turkey and bacon patties, habanero jack cheese and fresh serrano peppers.
