Fish

Fish already smells, well somewhat fishy, but if the odor is abnormally intense, that could mean it's gone bad. It may also have an overly slimy, sticky texture, similar to what you'd see in spoiled poultry or red meat. As a general rule, you shouldn't keep fish for more than a day or 36 hours at most.
