Flour

All flour is not created equal. Whole wheat flour will stay good (if properly stored) at room temperature for 1 -3 months, in the fridge for 6-8 months and in the freezer for 1 year. White flour, on the other hand, lasts quite a bit longer: 1 year in the pantry, 2 in the fridge and 2 in the freezer.
