I came up with this recipe because I had leftover chicken

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 rib of celery diced
  • ½ of a small onion diced
  • 14 ounce can reduced sodium chicken broth
  • 10.5 ounce can reduced sodium cream of chicken soup
  • 1-2 cups of cooked chicken, shredded
  • 5 count can flaky layer biscuits divided and cut into pieces

DIRECTIONS: Remove any skin & excess fat from the chicken carcass and toss in the garbage

  • INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 cups leftover chicken
  • Leftover chicken stock
  • 1 chicken carcass
  • 1 large white potato
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 carrots
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tbsp Mrs. Dash Original
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

I came up with this recipe by using ingredients I had on hand one day when I was hungry

  • 1 quart low sodium chicken broth
  • 2 cans low sodium cream of chicken soup
  • 1 box of long grain & wild Rice-a-Roni
  • 2 stalks of celery chopped
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 2 cups cooked chicken diced

  • 1/3 c mayo
  • 3/4 c halved grapes
  • 1 apple (diced)
  • 1/4 walnut pieces
  • 3 crescents cut in half

  • 3 medium potatoes peeled and diced 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can corn drained 1 can creamed style corn
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbls butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
  • for garnish chili pepper

  • 1-2 lbs of chicken (whatever you have on hand is fine)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 4 large carrots
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1-2 tbsp onion powder, to taste
  • 4 cups chicken broth (you can add more if you like your soup less thick)
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 2 tsp shortening
  • 1 cup frozen peas, or mixed frozen veggies
  • 2 tbsp parsley
