How to Cook Like CHRISSY TEIGEN
Chrissy Teigen has proven time and time and again that she's a woman of many talents. When she's not off on an exotic photoshoot or working the crowd on Spike TV, she's whipping up meals that are just like her - "salty, spicy, saucy, and fun as sin."
While you can buy her recipe book Cravings at any time, we've scoured the Internet for some of her best recipe ideas for you to try at home.
Stuff on Toast
Chrissy Teigen shares some of her most Instagram-worthy toast recipes (and by the look on Tyra's face, they taste as good as they look). You'll drool over her Maple-roasted Carrot Toast with coconut and a chili honey glaze. Be sure to document your creation before taking the first bite!
Slow-Cooker Thai Inspired Short Ribs
Chrissy is half-Thai and she learned a lot about Thai cooking from her mom Pepper! By searing the meat first, she makes sure that these slow cooker short ribs are packed with flavor. Served with Thai peanut sauce and mango salsa, this is one restaurant-quality dish you can make in your own kitchen.
Vegetable Noodles
Chrissy Teigen is queen of the vegetable noodle craze. She uses a spiralizer to slice carrots and zucchini into pasta that you can serve with your favorite sauce. Perfect for sneaking healthy veggies onto even the pickiest eater's plate!
Mozzarella Sticks
Finally, a Pinterest fail-proof recipe for mozzarella sticks! In this video, Chrissy Teigen shares her genius hack (spoiler alert: you have to freeze the cheese first for at least 30-45!). Then you have to double coat in a milk and egg mixture before rolling in breadcrumbs and frying.
Taco Salad
Chrissy shares her flavorful, budget-friendly taco salad in this video. Throw together lettuce, pinto beans, tomato, and cheese and douse with ranch dressing before tossing. Don't forget to top it off with your favorite tortilla chips!
Birthday Cake Popcorn
This birthday cake popcorn is sweet, salty, and (just as Chrissy promised) full of sin. Just line a baking sheet with wax paper and add the popped popcorn. Whisk together melted white chocolate and white cake batter mix, then drizzle over popcorn and add sprinkles. Throw some into a bowl and it's ready to serve! Perfect for baby showers or movie nights.
