Angela's Cafe - Boston, MA

Late founder Ángela Atenco López, who passed a few years ago, first opened her eponymous East Boston Mexican restaurant in 2007. Since then, Angela's Cafe has opened a second location and has won the hearts of locals and visitors for its excellent, authentic-flavored Mexican cuisine. López crafted the menu around Pueblan dishes, which includes her famous mole poblano, a recipe passed down by her mother. And whether you're an early bird or late riser, both locations open at 8 am and serve breakfast until 3 pm. Try the "best-in-Boston" chilaquiles or huevos rancheros, which never disappoint.

Get this: Angela's mole poblano or anything with her famous mole sauce made with a rich blend of chocolate, almonds, peanuts, raisins, sesame seeds, crackers and banana.
