Apple Peel Tea

Why not try out this tea using old apple peels? They'd sure go in the garbage otherwise. It's the perfect drink to warm you up during a fall picnic. Best of all, apple peel is a great source of vitamin E,K, and C!

Ingredients (for 4 cups):

  • 4 cups + 1/4 cup water
  • Peel of 1 apple
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 tbsp. honey

Instructions:

  1. Add the water, apple peel, cinnamon stick, cloves, and honey to a saucepan.
  2. Place over medium-heat and boil. Stir with a wooden spoon for 5 min. until the honey has totally melted.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Allow to cool.
  4. Serve.
