Ingredients (for 6 people):
5 apples (even better if they're from your garden!)
3 1/2 tbsp. butter
3 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 sheet puff pastry
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Peel and core apples before cutting into halves.
Press the butter into the bottom of the pan and sprinkle over the sugar. Stir until it turns into caramel.
Layer the apples, rounded side up and form a layer.
Place the pastry on top of the apples. Cut a little cross into the middle of the pastry.
Rest in the refrigerator for 30 min.
Put in oven for 45 min. until the pastry is golden brown.
Take the tarte tatin out of the oven, flip onto a plate and serve.
