Roasted tomato salsa with red chilies

To make a delicious roasted tomato salsa with a slightly smoky taste, start by tossing a few tomatoes, onions, fresh red chilies and garlic cloves with some vegetable oil. Spread on a baking tray and broil for 15 minutes or until the vegetables are slightly blackened. Then throw everything into a food processor along with 1 teaspoon of tomato paste or ketchup, lime juice, salt and some fresh cilantro. Blend until smooth.
