Buy disposable plates and cutlery

Ideally the food you serve won't require plates or cutlery. That said, if you're going to need utensils and plates, why not just buy disposable ones? Plastic or paper plates and cutlery come in all sorts of different colors and themes. So you might even find the perfect ones and cut down on the amount of dishes you have to do at the same time! When it comes to plastic cups, use a colorful marker to write each child's name on his or her glass. That way no one will lose their glass!
