Burning the bottom of a pan happens to the best of us. And when it does, forget about scrubbing the bottom with a metal sponge. Instead, white wine vinegar is your new best friend!
Simply pour enough vinegar in the pot or pan to cover the burnt part by about an inch. Let sit for 10 minutes and then start to heat up the pan. Simmer the vinegar for 10 minutes, and watch in awe as all the burnt bits start to float to the top. Wash your pan with dish soap and water to get rid of the vinegar smell, and you’ll quickly see that it’s as good as new!
