There’s nothing worse than opening the fridge, only to be hit with a wave of stinky air. When faced with this situation, you’ve got two options:
Place a small bowl of milk (yes, milk!) at the bottom of the fridge. Change the milk every 3 to 4 days. The milk will help absorb the odors in the fridge.
If you’re worried about spilled milk, then fill a small bowl half way with baking soda. Place the bowl on one of the shelves in the fridge, and change it every 10 days or so. Not only does it deodorize, but it also absorbs humidity and moisture.
