Wooden spoons are great because they’re so useful. But don’t you hate it when your favorite wooden spoon starts to turn black and constantly smells like the stew you made last week? To efficiently clean a wooden spoon, all you’ll need is some baking soda. Once a month, fill up your sink with hot water and a couple of tablespoons of baking soda. Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse them with water and let dry. To finish, place a little bit of oil on a paper towel and lightly oil each spoon.
