Chicken and Dumplings Soup

I came up with this recipe because I had leftover chicken
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 rib of celery diced
- ½ of a small onion diced
- 14 ounce can reduced sodium chicken broth
- 10.5 ounce can reduced sodium cream of chicken soup
- 1-2 cups of cooked chicken, shredded
- 5 count can flaky layer biscuits divided and cut into pieces
Gorilla Bread

Preheat the oven to 350°
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 8 ounce package cream cheese
- 2 8 count cans jumbo refrigerated biscuits
Parmesan Shrimp & Peppers

This recipe is excellent to take for lunch
- 2 dozen shrimp, peeled, deveined
- ½ cup thinly sliced onions
- ½ cup each thinly sliced green & red peppers
- ½ cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons thinly sliced butter
- ½ cup coarsely shredded Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups cooked rice, hot
Creamy Cucumber Shrimp

Mix mayonnaise, parsley, garlic and onion powder in a medium bowl
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, minced
- 1 lb shrimp (70 count, cooked, peeled, deveined)
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ cup coarsely shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 medium cucumbers, peeled and sliced
Creamy Dill Shrimp

I use whichever grapes are on sale at that time
- 2 pounds shrimp, cooked and peeled
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayo
- 2 cups seedless grapes
- ½ dill weed, chopped
Ambrosia

I love pineapple, pecans and whipped topping and this recipe has all of that!
- 20 ounce can pineapple tidbits drained
- 11 ounces mandarin oranges drained
- ½ pound seedless grapes
- ½ cup mini marshmallows
- ½ cup shredded coconut
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- 8 ounce container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Spinach Dip

The spinach, cream cheese and spinach dip are frequently featured on 10/$10 sales
- 10 ounce box frozen chopped spinach thawed and well drained
- 2 containers 16 ounces Spinach Dip in the diary case not from the deli
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 8 ounces finely shredded Italian cheese blend
- Garlic and Onion Powder to taste
- Cocktail Bread, Crackers, Tortilla or Pita Chips
Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

I came up with this recipe by using ingredients I had on hand one day when I was hungry
- 1 quart low sodium chicken broth
- 2 cans low sodium cream of chicken soup
- 1 box of long grain & wild Rice-a-Roni
- 2 stalks of celery chopped
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 2 cups cooked chicken diced
Carrot Cake Delight

Heat oven to 350° F. Grease and flour longest, deepest pan you have
- Cake Layer
- 1 package carrot cake mix
- 6 ounce can of pineapple juice
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 8 ounce can of crushed pineapple in juice undrained
- ½ cup chopped nuts
- ½ cup shredded carrots
- ½ cup shredded coconut
- ½ cup raisins
- Pudding Layer
- 2 cups milk
- 2 two small boxes Cheesecake flavored instant pudding
- 8 ounce tub soft pineapple flavored cream cheese room temperature
- 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 12 ounce container frozen whipped topping thawed
- Top Layer
- 12 ounce container frozen whipped topping thawed
Stuffed Mushrooms

I have several variations to this recipe
- 1 pound large fresh whole mushrooms
- 3 slices cooked crumbled bacon
- 6 slices pepperoni quartered
- ¼ cup finely shredded Italian cheese blend
