First you will need to bake the sponge
- Sponge Cake
- 1 cup self rising flour
- 5 whole eggs, separated into yolks and whites
- 1/2 cup sugar, divided into two parts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/3 cup milk
- Ingredients for Tres Leches Syrup
- 1 can evaporated milk (385ml)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (300ml)
- 1/4 cup whipping or double cream
- Ingredients for Frosting
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 3 tbsp.sugar
- 1 tsp.vanilla essence
Dessert- Semolina Pudding

Mix the semolina in some of the milk to form a thick paste
- 500ml whole milk
- 2 heaped tbsp fine semolina/sooji
- 5-6 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- a few drops of red food coloring
- 1scoop of vanilla ice-cream
- crushed nuts for garnishing
